Gentry
Age: 26 Hair/Eyes:
Red-brown/yellow Height: 6' 0" Weight:
165lbs
Physical: Tall and lanky with a habit of slouching
Gentry is unobtrusive and slides in and out of your vision like a shadow.
He purposefully avoids attention and excels and coming off as a non-entity
so much to the point that it's hard to focus on him even when you pick him
out of a crowd. He has shaggy red-brown hair, though it's lighter than
Aden's, and yellow eyes that are certainly NOT natural. (As if Gentry were
anything but normal)
Skills: Gentry is, or rather has, a
sort of 'chaos effect' on everything around him. If anyone has read Robert
Jordan's "Wheel of Time" series they might be familiar with ta'veren and
the way those people fuck with the fabric of reality. In Gentry's case he
can't consciously focus this phenomenom but it works like a lightening rod
on bending things. For example, mages can't seem to direct spells at him,
everyone in a small town might loose a couple of hours when he passes
through and not know why, mass weddings might occur (or mass murders),
etc. He's like the joker in the deck, a random player, but a scary one.
Additionally, part of this 'chaos effect' lends him a more acute sense
than most. Gentry hears 'time'. More specifically, he hears how much time
living things have, like a death clock. (No wonder the guy is disturbed)
His more mundane skills lay with the staff he carries and manipulation
that comes naturally to him.
Skill Breakdown: (low
(1)<-------->(6) high) SPEED (4), STAMINA (4), STRENGTH (3),
MAGIC (?), SKILL (?), INTELLIGENCE (5)
Likes/hobbies:
Disorder, 'uniqueness', wine, snow Dislikes: Order, the Older
Gods, magic, authority
Personality: Gentry is for the most
part calm, soft spoken, (but very VERY sure of things) intelligent and
rational. He's also somewhat gloomy and not crazy, but not quite
there. (though I'm sure if you could hear death everywhere you'd be a
little "off" too) As collected as he seems to be Gentry does get a bit
edgy when he's near foundations of order (think mountains or water) and
deities help you if you're the focus of his attention. He's just just as
likely to save you as take your skin and wear it as a hat.
