The Story: brought to you by the people in my head
Aden's Run is not the kind of tale where people go
trapsing around the countryside and having lots of heartwarming
encounters with other nice, sociable people. In fact, it's more
likely to involve chaos-oriented sociopaths, tanked out mages and
the occasional zombie. I do so love zombies.
The story begins with the introduction of the main
character and brings you up to speed on the what, the where, the
when, and the what the hell is going on in the world of the four
Marks. You also ride shotgun in Aden's head for the first twenty or
so pages so get comfy, you'll be hearing a lot from him. From there
on it skips a merry way into a fight, an important meeting, and the
Guild where it really all begins. That said...
